Apple Martin is drawing attention online after sharing a series of sun-soaked Instagram photos that highlighted her striking resemblance to her mother, Gwyneth Paltrow.
The 22-year-old posted two summer-themed images showing herself in a white babydoll dress, paired with a brown leather handbag and black sunglasses. With her blonde hair styled to the side, many fans noted how closely she resembles the Oscar-winning actress. Apple captioned the post: “Frolicking about.”
The photos come shortly after Apple celebrated graduating from Vanderbilt University. She is also preparing to take a major step in her career after being cast in a new comedy from Nancy Meyers, marking her feature-film acting debut.
According to reports, Apple will appear alongside Tony Hale and Beverly D’Angelo in Meyers’ upcoming semi-autobiographical comedy. The film, which will be written and directed by Meyers, is scheduled for release in December 2027 and also stars Penélope Cruz, Kieran Culkin, Jude Law, Owen Wilson and Erin Doherty.
Although she previously considered attending law school, Apple revealed earlier this year that her ambitions have shifted toward acting. Speaking about her future, she explained that she has moved beyond a phase of wanting to avoid following in her parents’ footsteps and now hopes to pursue a career on screen. While she enjoys singing, like her father, Chris Martin, she admitted that performing solo is intimidating, adding that acting and dancing are her true passions.
Apple has already built experience in the fashion world, working with brands such as Chloé and Gap. Earlier this year, she also celebrated her directorial debut for a musical production at Vanderbilt, describing the experience as one of her favorite memories from university.
With a college degree completed and her first major movie role secured, Apple appears poised to follow her own path in entertainment while continuing to draw comparisons to her famous mother.
