Tadej Pogačar, Paul Seixas and Remco Evenepoel are all using Spain’s Sierra Nevada mountains as a key training base as preparations intensify for the 2026 Tour de France. The high-altitude camp has become the preferred destination for many of cycling’s biggest stars ahead of the Grand Boucle.
Pogačar has already entered full Tour de France preparation mode after another dominant spring campaign, while Evenepoel is refining his condition following strong Classics performances. Meanwhile, teenage sensation Paul Seixas continues to generate excitement after his breakthrough results this season, including major performances in the Ardennes Classics and the Tour of the Basque Country.
The Sierra Nevada camp is increasingly viewed as the unofficial gathering point for Tour contenders, with riders using the altitude and demanding climbs to sharpen their form before the July start in Barcelona.
