The Warning want their next album to include “more than one song in Spanish”

After the success of  Keep Me Fed which secured a spot in Kerrang!’s top 20 albums of 2024, The Warning is offering a glimpse into the direction of their next record.

In an interview for the magazine’s spring print edition, the trio Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra Villarreal Vélez reflected on their achievements during the Keep Me Fed era and shared their vision for the future.

When asked about what they’d like to explore on a future album, Pau hinted, “I want to have more than one song in Spanish.” Ale eagerly agreed, saying, “Let’s do that!”

The band takes great pride in showcasing their heritage. Pau emphasized, “When we play festivals or events where Mexican artists are rarely featured, we feel like we’re representing our country as a whole.”

She added, “We always try to highlight the beauty of Mexico its culture, history, and music. Mexican rock is a unique genre that deserves more global recognition. It has a deep history, and we hope people from around the world start exploring it. Being part of that legacy, even in a small way, is amazing. Hopefully, we can spark curiosity and encourage listeners to discover more of what Latin America has to offer.”
