Vingegaard and Van Aert lead the Visma line-up.

As anticipated, Jonas Vingegaard will be backed by a formidable team for the 112th edition of the Tour de France, which kicks off on July 5 in Lille. The defending champion from 2022 and 2023, and last year’s runner-up overall, is eyeing a third victory, and he’ll do so with the support of a powerful Visma-Lease a Bike lineup.

Wout van Aert, a nine-time stage winner at the Tour, is expected to be a top contender for individual stage wins. Thanks to his all-around skills sprinting, time trials, and climbing he, along with fellow Belgian Tiesj Benoot, will also serve as key support riders on the more demanding stages.

Vingegaard’s mountain support is particularly strong, with this year’s Giro d’Italia winner Simon Yates, Paris-Nice champion Matteo Jorgenson, and former Vuelta a España winner Sepp Kuss all on hand to assist in the high-altitude battles. On flatter stages, the team will rely on the experience of Victor Campenaerts and newcomer Edoardo Affini to offer crucial support.
