Azzi Fudd is making the most of her championship offseason with the UConn Huskies in a big way. She recently went viral dancing alongside Olympic gold medalist Sunisa Lee and rising tennis talent Anna Frey.
Fudd, 22, earned the title of Most Outstanding Player at the Final Four after scoring 24 points to lead UConn to its first national championship since 2016, defeating South Carolina. Since the win, she’s been spending time with her close friend Paige Bueckers. Fudd turned heads during WNBA draft night with a bold makeover and a stunning black dress before changing into cocktail attire for the celebration. The pair also appeared in an Oreo ad in matching pink outfits and were spotted together in relaxed outfits in Hartford, Connecticut.
While Bueckers prepares for her rookie WNBA season with the Dallas Wings, Fudd linked up with Lee and Frey in New York after the Business of Women’s Sports Summit. The trio performed the viral “Eat Dance,” which Angel Reese and Hailey Van Lith also recently joined in on. It’s especially encouraging to see Fudd dancing again after being spotted earlier in a walking boot.
Lee previously spent time with Bueckers during New York Fashion Week and now finds herself dancing with Bueckers’ former teammate Fudd and 17-year-old Frey. Frey rose to fame with her Brock Purdy-inspired TikToks and landed a Super Bowl NIL deal; she’s set to join the North Carolina Tar Heels tennis team in 2026. Together, Lee, Fudd, and Frey make an unexpected but star-studded trio.
