The couple was seen dining at Harry’s in West Palm Beach on Friday evening. MMA fighter Jose Andres Cortes shared a picture on Instagram showing the two sitting closely together in a booth, sipping drinks ahead of their meal. Another image, posted by singer Mark Morrison, captured Swift animatedly reacting at the table.
According to TMZ, the couple arrived holding hands, with Swift briefly walking ahead of Kelce. She wore a floral off-the-shoulder sundress and had her hair in a loose bun, while Kelce opted for a black-and-white printed shirt and tan trousers.
Kelce, who’s spending the NFL offseason training in Florida, has been renting a $20 million mansion in Boca Raton. Their dinner date follows reports that Swift is pulling away from Lively, her longtime friend, due to Lively’s involvement in a legal dispute with actor Justin Baldoni.
A source told the Daily Mail that Swift now regrets the friendship. “If Taylor could wish anything away, it would be ever meeting Blake,” the insider claimed, adding that the stress from the legal battle has overshadowed any positive memories.
The source also alleged that Swift is now seeing past red flags in their relationship. Amid the controversy, Kelce is reportedly standing by Swift, even going so far as to unfollow Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, on Instagram.
Swift was originally subpoenaed in the lawsuit, which involves a $400 million countersuit by Baldoni against Lively and Reynolds. He accused Lively of using Swift’s name to influence rewrites for It Ends With Us. His legal team claimed Lively’s lawyer pressured Swift to delete texts and issue public support even threatening to leak their messages. However, the subpoena was withdrawn earlier this week after Baldoni’s team said they obtained the necessary information.
