COLUMBIA — Five-star power forward McKenna Woliczko, one of the top prospects in the 2026 class, has named South Carolina women’s basketball among her final four choices.

On June 12, Woliczko shared her list on X, which also includes Ohio State, USC, and Iowa.

Ranked No. 6 overall by ESPN’s HoopGurlz, Woliczko is a 6-foot-2 standout from Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, California. She’s also rated the No. 2 power forward and the No. 2 prospect in California by the 247Sports Composite. According to On3, she is scheduled to make an official visit to South Carolina later this month.

During her 2023–24 sophomore campaign, Woliczko averaged 22.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game, per MaxPreps, before suffering an ACL tear in January that sidelined her for the rest of the season.

South Carolina has also recently hosted elite talent. In May, top-ranked recruit Saniyah Hall took an official visit, while No. 2 ranked prospect Oliviyah Edwards, a 6-foot-3 forward, visited Columbia in January and attended a Gamecocks practice before their matchup with LSU.
