Rookie Sonia Citron Gets Honest About Caitlin Clark WNBA All-Star Team Roster.

Washington Mystics star rookie Sonia Citron spoke about Caitlin Clark drafting her to Clark's WNBA All-Star roster.

The full rosters for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game were announced on July 8. Team Caitlin Clark, led by the Indiana Fever star, features key players like Aliyah Boston, Sabrina Ionescu, A’ja Wilson, and Satou Sabally. Her reserve lineup includes Kelsey Mitchell, Gabby Williams, Jackie Young, Kayla Thornton, and promising Washington Mystics rookies Kiki Iriafen and Sonia Citron.

Team Napheesa Collier, representing the Minnesota Lynx, boasts a starting squad of Breanna Stewart, Allisha Gray, Nneka Ogwumike, and standout rookie Paige Bueckers from the Wings. Collier’s reserves include Courtney Williams, Skylar Diggins, Angel Reese, Alyssa Thomas, Kelsey Plum, and Rhyne Howard. The presence of three rookies in this year’s showcase highlights the remarkable influx of young talent into the league.

Sonia Citron, one of those rising stars, appeared on WNBA legend Lisa Leslie’s “Between the Lines” show on July 10. She expressed her excitement about joining Team Clark.

“I’m really looking forward to it,” Citron said. “We’re a young group, full of shooters and versatile players. It’s going to be fun teaming up with Caitlin, Sabrina, and everyone else. I’ve only played with the Mystics so far, so this will be a fun change.”

When asked if she had any prior experience playing with her All-Star teammates, Citron recalled, “I actually played with Caitlin a while back four years ago, at the U19 World Cup before I started college. Feels like ages ago.”

It’s likely Clark was eager to reunite with her former teammate, making Citron’s selection even more meaningful.
