NSW Rugby Union Announces Appointment of Two New Board Directors.

The NSW Rugby Union (NSWRU) has announced the appointment of Jane Palfreyman and Grahame O’Donnell to its Board of Directors. Their inclusion brings a wealth of experience and expertise, further strengthening NSWRU’s commitment to innovation and growth.

Jane Palfreyman joins the board with a distinguished background in marketing, communications, and brand management. With over 20 years of leadership experience in both corporate and sports sectors, Palfreyman has been instrumental in driving brand strategies and digital transformations for several high-profile organizations. Her expertise in fan engagement and digital outreach will support NSWRU’s efforts to grow rugby’s profile across New South Wales.

Grahame O’Donnell, a respected figure in the finance and corporate advisory sectors, brings over three decades of experience in financial management and strategic planning. He has served on multiple boards, contributing to organizational growth and operational excellence. O’Donnell’s financial acumen will play a key role in ensuring NSWRU’s long-term sustainability and supporting grassroots rugby development initiatives.

 

NSWRU Chairperson, Mark Green, welcomed the appointments, stating:
