Mathieu van der Poel has officially signed a long-term contract extension with Alpecin-Deceuninck, committing to the Belgian-based team until the end of 2030, with an additional optional year included in the deal. The announcement, made on Monday, confirms the reigning world champion’s continued partnership with the team where he has spent the entirety of his professional road career.

 

The 29-year-old Dutchman, known for his explosive riding style and versatility across disciplines, expressed both satisfaction and ambition upon signing the deal. “I’m very happy to continue with Alpecin-Deceuninck.
