Sha’Carri Richardson and Christian Coleman attended a Katt Williams comedy show on Valentine’s Day, where Richardson received a special shoutout from the comedian. Coleman captured the moment on video, briefly showing Richardson seated next to him in the front row. Williams praised Richardson from the stage, saying,
“Sha’Carri, you make us so proud.” Coleman shared the video on his Instagram story with the caption,
“My Valentine done took over the Katt Williams show,” tagging Richardson.
Richardson, a decorated sprinter, earned two gold medals (100m and 4x100m relay) and a bronze (200m) at the 2023 World Championships. She also debuted at the 2024 Olympics, winning gold in the 4x100m relay and silver in the 100m. Coleman, who competed in the 2016 Rio and 2024 Paris Olympics without medaling, secured gold in the 4x100m relay at the 2023 World Championships and has eight World Championship medals (four gold, four silver) in total.
The pair also made a joint appearance at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, where Coleman shared an Instagram video of Kendrick Lamar’s halftime performance. Alongside cheering crowds and game-day moments, Coleman referenced his hometown team, the Atlanta Falcons, urging them to aim for next year’s championship.
The Super Bowl saw the Philadelphia Eagles claim their second title with a 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, highlighted by defensive dominance and a crucial interception returned for a touchdown by Cooper DeJean.
