‘Lock that in’ – Usain Bolt makes surprise offer to IShowSpeed during live stream.

The American YouTuber, known as Darren Jason Watkins Jr., has been on a whirlwind journey in Munich, where he mingled with football legends during the Champions League final. Now, his experience is reaching new heights after receiving a personal message from Olympic legend Usain Bolt.

During a livestream, Speed revealed a message from Bolt himself, reading:

“My G what’s good, we can link up any time. I’m retired now, so I’m not running, but I can coach you to get faster. You’re already quick, but everyone wants to be quicker, right?”

Clearly ecstatic, Speed responded with a voice note full of excitement:

“Yooooooo, private training with Usain Bolt! You’re a legend, thank you. Let’s lock it in this year I love you, bro!”

Bolt, who still holds the world records in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay, appears ready to pass on some of his speed wisdom.

Speed has recently become a prominent face in football content, especially after his big moment on CBS Sports’ coverage of Paris Saint-Germain’s 5-0 thrashing of Inter Milan in the Champions League final. Teaming up with pundits Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards, Speed kept viewers entertained all week via his live-streamed adventures in Germany.

At Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena, Speed crossed paths with Alphonso Davies and couldn’t resist boasting about his own speed claims that may have caught Bolt’s eye.

“No footballer is faster than me—not even Mbappe,” he told Carragher and Richards.

“I’m faster than Kyle Walker. I swear, in a 40 or 50-yard sprint, no footballer is quicker than me.”

Carragher quickly clapped back:

“I don’t think you understand how fast you are you’re not that fast.”

And when Speed reminded him he’d beaten him in a race, Carragher quipped:

“I’m 47.”

Though Speed managed to edge Carragher in a fun backstage sprint, things didn’t go as well when he took on American sprint champion Noah Lyles showing he still has some ground to cover before taking Bolt’s crown.
