Lindsey Vonn is introducing the newest addition to her family and he’s undeniably adorable.
The Olympic skiing legend recently said goodbye to her cherished dog, Lucy, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who had been by her side on many ski trips. Lucy passed away in March from kidney failure, leaving Vonn heartbroken over the loss.
Now, Vonn is finding joy again with a new furry companion: Chance Vonn, another Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She clearly has a deep affection for the breed. Vonn shared a heartwarming collection of photos and videos on Instagram, featuring sweet moments with her new puppy. Alongside the post, she wrote, “Meet Chance Vonn❤️ the newest member of the family. After losing Lucy I had a very hard time… I wasn’t sure what I would do next… but I saw his face and I knew it was meant to be. Thankful for this blessing 🙏🏻.”
The post shows Vonn beaming as she cuddles Chance, with additional clips of the pup peacefully napping sometimes solo, sometimes snuggled up to her. One video captures him happily trotting down a quiet road and playing on the grass with her other dog, Leo.
Fans quickly flooded the comments with love. One wrote, “Linds he’s so cute!!! Lucy 100% sent him to you🤍🤍🤍.” Another added, “Lucy sent him to you❤️🥹,” while someone else shared, “This wasn’t by chance, Lucy clearly found the perfect dog for you, and Chance has already chosen you as his person. Get ready for all the love he’s going to bring.”
Others chimed in with messages like, “Best dog breed ever 🥰 Congrats!!!😍” and “Adorable!!❤️ I can see why you fell in love!”
