Nokian Tyres has announced that former Formula 1 champion Kimi Räikkönen is joining the company as a global Brand Ambassador. The partnership brings together two Finnish icons known for excelling in tough northern conditions.
According to Tiina Frazer, Nokian Tyres’ VP of Brand, Marketing and Communications, the collaboration is a natural fit: both Räikkönen and the company share Finnish heritage, high performance standards, and the ability to perform under pressure.
Räikkönen said he’s excited to work with the brand he grew up with, calling Nokian Tyres “an iconic Finnish company” and expressing enthusiasm for promoting its products internationally.

Nicknamed “The Iceman,” Räikkönen is a retired Formula 1 driver and the 2007 World Champion with Ferrari. Over a 20-year career, he raced in 349 Grands Prix, earning 21 victories and 103 podium finishes. He remains one of the sport’s most recognizable figures.
Nokian Tyres, known for creating products designed for demanding climates, aims to continually improve tire safety and sustainability. The company employs around 3,800 people and reported EUR 1.3 billion in net sales in 2024. It is listed on Nasdaq Helsinki.
