Legendary British heavy metal band Iron Maiden have officially announced the European leg of their ‘Run For Your Lives’ Tour, set to thunder across the continent in summer 2026. The tour, a continuation of their globally acclaimed Legacy of the Beast and Future Past tours, promises a brand-new stage production, a refreshed setlist, and the same high-octane performances that have defined the band’s storied career.
The announcement dropped via the band’s official website and social media channels earlier today (September 20), sending Maiden fans worldwide into a frenzy. The tour kicks off in Lisbon, Portugal on May 28, 2026, and wraps up with a massive show in Helsinki, Finland on August 2, 2026. In total, the band will play over 25 dates across 15 countries, including stops in Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, Poland, and the UK.
Frontman Bruce Dickinson shared his excitement in a statement:
> “We’re beyond thrilled to bring the ‘Run For Your Lives’ tour to Europe. We’ve been cooking up something truly special — new songs, classic Maiden moments, and of course, Eddie in top form. If you’ve seen us before, you haven’t seen THIS show. And if you’ve never seen Maiden live… what are you waiting for?”
The setlist is expected to be a blend of fan-favorite anthems and deeper cuts, with several songs from their 2021 album Senjutsu making their live European debut. Longtime manager Rod Smallwood hinted that the tour will be “an evolution of Maiden’s theatrical legacy — bigger props, more pyro, and surprises fans will never forget.”
The tour will also mark Iron Maiden’s return to several iconic venues, including Paris’ Accor Arena, London’s O2 Arena, and Berlin’s Mercedes-Benz Arena. Many of the cities on the itinerary sold out in record time during their previous tours, and early buzz suggests that tickets for this run will be in extremely high demand.
Pre-sale tickets will be available beginning September 25, with general sales launching on September 27 via major ticketing platforms. VIP experiences and fan club pre-sales will also be offered, including early entry, exclusive merchandise, and a chance to win meet-and-greets with band members.
The band’s last tour drew over three million fans worldwide, further cementing their reputation as one of the most enduring and powerful live acts in rock history. With over 100 million albums sold and a legacy that spans five decades, Iron Maiden continue to defy age, trends, and expectations.
