Indiana Fever Have Words on Lexie Hull Before WNBA Free Agency.

The Indiana Fever endured a tough 2025 campaign after losing several key players including Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham, Sydney Colson, Aari McDonald, and Chloe Bibby to season-ending injuries. Despite those challenges, the team still fought their way to the WNBA semifinals.

Although they eventually fell to the Las Vegas Aces, the Fever pushed the defending champions to a decisive Game 5, showing remarkable resilience.

One standout performer during the season was Lexie Hull. The 26-year-old guard appeared in all 44 games, starting 30 of them a significant jump from her previous three seasons combined, when she had just 40 total starts. Hull delivered career-best numbers with 7.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.2 steals per game, while averaging 27 minutes on the floor.

The Fever made sure to recognize Hull’s impact on social media, posting highlight reels, photos, and a cinematic video featuring head coach Stephanie White commending her efforts. In another post, the team described her as “a menace on the court,” showcasing her defensive hustle and relentless energy.

Now entering restricted free agency, Hull’s future is a key talking point for Indiana. While re-signing star scorer Kelsey Mitchell remains the franchise’s top priority, the Fever are also expected to make every effort to retain Hull a dependable defender and valuable depth piece in their backcourt.

WNBA free agency officially opens on January 21, when players like Hull can begin negotiating new contracts.
