Indiana Fever Sign Guard Odyssey Sims.

INDIANAPOLIS (Aug. 10, 2025) — The Indiana Fever have added guard Odyssey Sims on a hardship contract, the team announced, following season-ending injuries to Sydney Colson and Aari McDonald.

Sims, an 11-year WNBA veteran, holds career averages of 11.2 points, 3.8 assists, and 2.5 rebounds per game. She has played for the Tulsa Shock (2014-15), Dallas Wings (2016, 2023-24), LA Sparks (2017-18, 2024-25), Minnesota Lynx (2019-20, 2022), Atlanta Dream (2021), and Connecticut Sun (2022). In 2019 with the Lynx, she earned her first WNBA All-Star selection and a spot on the All-WNBA Second Team.

Earlier this season, Sims played for the LA Sparks, averaging 9.8 points and 3.5 assists in 11 starts. A standout at Baylor University, she helped capture the 2012 NCAA Championship and was named both Big 12 Player of the Year and Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year in 2014. Selected second overall in the 2014 WNBA Draft, Sims will wear No. 1 for Indiana.
