Indiana Fever Guard Has ‘Coldest’ Message for Kelsey Mitchell.

Indiana Fever guard Odyssey Sims had one of the coolest messages for teammate Kelsey Mitchell after the star’s incredible 2025 season.

Mitchell, who finished as a top-five MVP candidate and earned All-WNBA First Team honors, averaged 20.2 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 3.4 assists across all 44 regular-season games then elevated her game in the playoffs, posting 22.3 points per outing on 42.8% shooting.

Reflecting on her standout year, the 29-year-old opened up about how the loss of her father last year became her motivation, writing, “Pops blueprint kept me in survival mode…”

Her teammates quickly rallied around her message. Caitlin Clark commented that she feels “lucky” and “proud” to share the court with Mitchell, while Sophie Cunningham called her “everyone’s GOAT.”

Odyssey Sims, who joined Indiana midseason on a hardship contract, added a heartfelt note: “Lefty, you are the coldest!! It was an HONOR to play with you this season! Love you.”

Sims played in 10 games for the Fever and was clearly moved by Mitchell’s leadership and drive. While the team plans to re-sign Mitchell, it remains to be seen whether Sims and other free agents will return for the next campaign.
