While speaking courtside, Swiatek suddenly paused mid-answer, convinced she felt raindrops. “Wait, rain?” she asked in puzzlement, only for the interviewer to joke that it was probably just a bit of spit from their question. Still bemused, Swiatek laughed it off, saying she must have imagined thunder.
Reflecting on the match, the Pole praised the high pace of play and her ability to stay sharp: “The level was really intense at the beginning, super fast, sometimes we couldn’t even reach the second ball.
