Luke Humphries has been awarded an MBE in recognition of his contribution to darts.
The 2024 PDC World Darts Champion from Newbury, Berkshire, received the honour from Prince William during a ceremony at Windsor Castle. Humphries, who previously spent almost two years as world number one before being overtaken by Luke Littler in November, has won eight major titles, including his first Premier League crown earlier this year.
Now 30, Humphries is preparing for the upcoming World Darts Championship, which begins Thursday at Alexandra Palace in London.
