Caitlin Clark has officially confirmed her return to compete in the LPGA’s Annika Pro-Am later this year.

The WNBA star will tee off once again in the pro-am at The Annika driven by Gainbridge, slated for November 12 at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida. This will mark her second straight season of participating in the pre-tournament celebrity round.

Reflecting on her experience last year, Clark said:

“I had an amazing time at The Annika last November and participating in the pro-am alongside Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam, two of the best in the game. … I’m honored to be an ambassador for a company in Gainbridge … I can’t wait to return to Tampa in November to play in the pro-am with the best women golfers in the world.”

Her decision follows a challenging WNBA season in which she appeared in just 13 games, before suffering multiple lower-body injuries and being shut down for the rest of the campaign. Despite the setback, her enthusiasm for golf has remained strong.

Tournament organizers and her peers have eagerly welcomed her return. Annika Sörenstam, the event’s namesake and host, remarked that Clark “added such a great dynamic to our event … I look forward to having her back.” The surge in interest and media coverage when Clark first played has encouraged organizers to expand visibility live streaming, walk-and-talk segments, and broader coverage were added last year.

Clark’s comeback to the green underscores her growing crossover appeal beyond basketball, and it injects fresh buzz ahead of the LPGA offseason showcase.
