Breaking: Heavy metal giants Iron Maiden have officially announced a major European tour for summer 2026, confirming showsđ¤ across ten countries â including a highly anticipated but currently undisclosed UK date locked in for Saturday 11th July 2026.
Dubbed the latest leg of their Run For Your Lives World Tour, the 2026 run will see the legendary British band return to a range of European cities they missed during the earlier 2025 dates. Among the countries confirmed are Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Germany, The Netherlands, Italy, France, and Portugal â with Maiden promising even more shows to come.
While details of most venues have already begun to surface, it’s the mysterious UK date that has fans talking. Although no city or venue has been officially revealed, the band has assured fans that this will be a major headline event, taking place on 11 July 2026. Speculation is already swirling online, with many fans predicting a stadium show in London or Birmingham.
In a press release, band manager Rod Smallwood said:
> âWe had an amazing time on the 2025 tour, but we know there are fans in parts of Europe who didnât get a chance to see the show. So weâre coming back in 2026 to finish what we started â and yes, we have something special planned for the UK.â
The 2026 tour will feature Iron Maidenâs now-iconic stage production based on their most recent “Senjutsu / Somewhere Back in Time” setlist, which blends tracks from their latest studio album with fan favourites from the bandâs classic 80s catalogue. Known for their theatrical performances and Eddie-themed stage designs, fans can expect another immersive metal spectacle.
One particularly notable stop on the tour will be the bandâs Paris show on 22 June 2026, which will be filmed for a future live release. In a first for Iron Maiden, this concert will be partially phone-free, with Yondr pouches being used in the general admission area to limit mobile phone use and preserve the atmosphere of the live recording.
Another key detail from the announcement is that Iron Maiden will not be performing any live concerts in 2027. This break from touring will give the band time to rest and potentially focus on other projects. While no retirement has been hinted at, this move underscores how precious the 2026 shows will be for fans hoping to catch the band live in the near future.
Tickets for the announced shows are expected to go on sale soon, with pre-sale access available to members of the bandâs official fan club. Demand is expected to be high, especially for the mystery UK date, which is being teased as one of the bandâs biggest domestic shows in years.
With over four decades of metal dominance under their belt, Iron Maiden continue to prove theyâre not slowing down â at least not yet.
