London, UK – June 21, 2025 — Heavy metal titans Iron Maiden have unveiled a thrilling new addition to their legacy: an official illustrated book titled Infinite Dreams, set to be released later this year. The richly designed volume promises to take fans on a visual and narrative journey through the band’s monumental career — from their humble beginnings playing in East End pubs to selling out stadiums around the world.
The announcement was made via the band’s official channels, accompanied by a teaser image of the book’s cover featuring Iron Maiden’s iconic mascot, Eddie, gazing toward a rising stage in the shape of a dreamscape. Published in collaboration with Z2 Comics, Infinite Dreams is described as a “lavishly illustrated chronicle” that blends storytelling, exclusive interviews, and never-before-seen artwork and photographs.
“This book is our story, told in a way we’ve never done before,” said founding member and bassist Steve Harris in a statement. “It’s full of the energy, the madness, and the passion that’s driven us from day one. We’ve included the gritty details and the surreal highs — and of course, Eddie’s in there, front and center.”
Infinite Dreams will explore Iron Maiden’s 50-year journey across multiple eras of rock history. From their formation in 1975 by Harris in Leyton, East London, through the New Wave of British Heavy Metal explosion, and onto global dominance in the ’80s and beyond, the book is set to highlight the band’s most pivotal moments. These include the recruitment of legendary vocalist Bruce Dickinson, the creation of genre-defining albums like The Number of the Beast and Powerslave, as well as the group’s ambitious world tours and their innovative use of stage design and technology.
In addition to text contributions from the band and longtime collaborators, Infinite Dreams features new art by acclaimed illustrators from around the world, capturing iconic scenes and imaginative interpretations of the band’s music and lore. Longtime fans will also find annotated memorabilia, behind-the-scenes photos, and rare sketches of tour concepts, album covers, and Eddie incarnations through the decades.
Z2 Comics, known for its previous work with musical artists such as Ozzy Osbourne, Anthrax, and Gorillaz, expressed excitement over the collaboration. “Iron Maiden is more than a band — they’re a universe,” said Z2 CEO Josh Frankel. “With Infinite Dreams, we wanted to capture the scale and spirit of their journey in a way that’s as grand and immersive as their music.”
The book will be available in multiple editions, including a standard hardcover, a deluxe box set with exclusive prints, and an ultra-limited collector’s edition signed by the band. Pre-orders begin next month, with the official release scheduled for October 2025, just ahead of the band’s rumored fall tour dates.
As Iron Maiden continues to inspire generations of fans and musicians, Infinite Dreams offers a new way to experience the legacy of one of metal’s most enduring and imaginative acts — this time, through the pages of a dream.
