Ezavier Crowell , a four-star running back from Alabama, is the top RB target for Kalen DeBoer and the Crimson Tide in the 2026 class. Recently reclassifying, Crowell is nearing a major recruiting decision.
As shared by On3’s Hayes Fawcett, Crowell has set his commitment date for June 26, moving it up from an original New Year’s Eve announcement. He’s rated the No. 2 RB and No. 23 overall prospect in the class by On3.
Although Florida and Georgia remain in his top six, he’s only scheduled official visits to Alabama, Auburn, Texas, and Florida State. He’s made unofficial trips to Florida and Georgia, but hasn’t locked in anything official.
Alabama is widely considered the leader in Crowell’s recruitment, largely due to the efforts of RB coach Robert Gillespie and frequent visits to Tuscaloosa eight in the past 15 months. The Tide will also host him for his final official visit, right before he announces his choice.
Texas was once considered a major contender due to Crowell’s bond with Tashard Choice, but his exit to the Detroit Lions tipped the scales in Alabama’s favor. On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine currently gives the Tide an 87.5% chance to land him.
