Stephen Curry led the Warriors back into the NBA playoffs.
The Golden State Warriors icon capped off his 16th NBA season by guiding his team into the postseason. With strong support from head coach Steve Kerr and star teammates Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green, Curry helped the Warriors defeat the Houston Rockets in the first round. Their title hopes were halted in the second round following a loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
As the 37 year old prepares for another run at an NBA title, he took time in the offseason to focus on his family. On Father’s Day, his wife Ayesha Curry shared a series of family photos on social media, showcasing the NBA star spending quality time with their children.
“The best and then some,” she wrote. “We love @stephencurry30 so much!!! The best dad in the world. Our babies are obsessed and in awe of him (as am I), and it is such a blessing to watch. He’s really something special and there’s no other way to say it. Happy Father’s Day to my @stephencurry30.”
The heartfelt post quickly drew praise from fans online. “Happy Father’s Day Steph! ❤️ May you always be the best in every way,” one user commented. Another added, “What a blessing. Family is everything.🙏🏼” One fan simply stated, “My favorite family❤️.” Others pointed out small details from the images: “The eyes in the first picture!!!” one said, while another shared, “Happy Father’s Day chief curry👏😇.” A final tribute read, “Happy Father’s Day, Curry family,” honoring the legacy the four-time NBA champion continues to build.
On the court, Curry showed no signs of slowing down. During the 2024 25 season, he averaged 24.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game, leading Golden State in both scoring and assists.
