The Cougars currently have a deep running back group, led by LJ Martin and Sione Moa.

Walk-on tight end Nason Coleman came to BYU in 2023 from Chandler, Arizona. He had received interest from other major programs as a PWO before choosing the Cougars. Coleman has three years of eligibility remaining.

Justice Ena, Offensive Lineman

According to On3, Justice Ena son of BYU linebackers coach Justin Ena has also entered the portal. After missing last season due to injury, he was the third-string center during recent spring practices. Ena initially signed with Utah State out of Sky View High School and has spent two years with BYU after returning from a church mission.

Nathan Hoke, Defensive End/Linebacker

Hoke, son of former BYU standout Chris Hoke, was originally recruited in the 2021 class. He played as a linebacker last season but was recently shifted to defensive end for the upcoming year.

Landon Rehkow, Punter

Punter Landon Rehkow younger brother of former BYU punter Ryan Rehkow is also entering the portal. He battled for the starting spot last season but eventually lost out to Sam Vander Haar, who took over during Big 12 play. Rehkow has three years of eligibility left after two seasons with the team.
