MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — A former West Virginia University football coach who was arrested in October 2024 has had his charge dismissed.
Jordan Lesley, 44, was taken into custody on Nov. 9 on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge and booked into the North Central Regional Jail with bail set at $5,000. According to the West Virginia Magistrate Court system, Magistrate Dimas later dismissed the charge in January.
Lesley previously served as the defensive coordinator for the WVU Mountaineers under former Head Coach Neal Brown, holding the role for four and a half years. However, on Oct. 29, just days after WVU’s road victory against Arizona, Brown announced Lesley’s dismissal from the program.
