Trackhouse Racing revealed that Red Bull will be the main sponsor for Shane van Gisbergen and Connor Zilisch in 25 NASCAR Cup Series events in 2026. Red Bull will also remain Trackhouse’s official energy drink, continuing the relationship that began in early 2025.
Zilisch will debut the Red Bull colors at the Daytona 500 on February 15, becoming the youngest entrant in the race since Joey Logano in 2009. Van Gisbergen will drive the Red Bull No. 97 Chevrolet for the first time a week later at EchoPark Speedway on February 22.
The 2026 Red Bull paint schemes feature a matte dark-blue base with metallic highlights around the car numbers. Van Gisbergen’s No. 97 carries bold red streaks sweeping along the side panels, while Zilisch’s No. 88 displays bright blue rays across both doors.
Both drivers recently saw their new numbers and liveries for the first time. Van Gisbergen said running the No. 97—an important number to him and his family felt surreal and praised the aggressive red flashes on the design. Zilisch said driving the historically significant No. 88 is an honor, noting that the contrasting blue streaks stand out sharply against the matte finish.
Red Bull and Trackhouse had a breakout first year as partners in 2025. Van Gisbergen and Zilisch combined for 16 wins across the Cup and Xfinity Series during their rookie seasons.
Van Gisbergen quickly established himself as one of NASCAR’s top road-course racers, claiming a rookie-record five Cup victories including winning from pole at Sonoma, where he led 97 of 110 laps. His road-course success earned him Rookie of the Year honors, and he became the fastest driver to reach five career wins since Dan Gurney in 1968.
Zilisch finished second in the 2025 Xfinity Series standings and earned a spot in the Championship 4. He won 10 races, including nine over the final 18 events, and set new rookie records for wins, top-fives, and races led. He also earned Rookie of the Year and won more races and poles than any other Xfinity driver that season.
Red Bull sponsored Zilisch’s Cup debut at COTA on March 2, and he later made additional Cup starts at Charlotte and EchoPark Speedway. The partnership also extended to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where Trackhouse owner Justin Marks drove the No. 87 Red Bull Chevrolet up the iconic hill climb, joined by Red Bull driver “Mad” Mike Whiddett.
