The 2025 Riyadh Season Snooker Championship is set for 19–21 November 2025 at the Global Theatre in Boulevard City, Riyadh. This special invitational, non-ranking event brings together 12 top-tier players, including world-leading stars, the reigning World Champion, the defending titleholder, and two Saudi wildcards, Ziyad Al Qabbani and Ayman Alamri.
Organized by the World Snooker Tour in collaboration with Riyadh Season, the tournament features a standout innovation: the 23rd “Riyadh Season” Gold Ball. Valued at 20 points, it can only be attempted once a player completes a 147 maximum break, opening the door to an unprecedented 167 super-maximum and a massive $1 million reward.
Matches will be best-of-7 up to the semi-finals, with the final played over a best-of-9 format. The total prize fund is £785,000, with £250,000 going to the champion. Big names such as Ronnie O’Sullivan, Judd Trump, Mark Allen, John Higgins, Neil Robertson, Ding Junhui, Kyren Wilson, Zhao Xintong, and Mark Williams are all expected to feature.
The event will be broadcast globally via WST’s media partners, including TNT Sports in the UK. As part of Saudi Arabia’s growing sporting ambition under Riyadh Season, the championship combines star power, major prize money, and the inventive Gold Ball twist making it one of the most exciting snooker showcases of the year.
