Pink battles bacterial infection, shares photo hooked up to IV in health scare.

Pop star Pink, best known for “Lady Marmalade,” revealed that she recently battled an E. coli infection while on a trip with family and friends.

The singer, whose real name is Alecia Moore, shared an update on Instagram showing herself recovering on a couch with an IV drip. Despite the setback, she kept her spirits up, relaxing with her feet up and a glass of wine in hand.

“This is all normal and going really well,” she wrote on the photo. “When you go on vacation and E. coli decides to join you, you beat it with friends, daughters, red wine, and a vitamin IV mix.”

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), E. coli (Escherichia coli) is a common bacteria found in food, water, the environment, and in the intestines of humans and animals. While many strains are harmless, others can cause illnesses such as diarrhea, urinary tract infections, pneumonia, and even sepsis. Most infections come from contaminated food or water, or through contact with animals, people, or the environment.

“Ahhh, life, lemons, lemonade, and wonderful memories I may or may not remember,” Pink added in her caption.

The “So What” singer launched her Trustfall Tour in October 2023 to support her ninth studio album and wrapped it up the following November. Throughout the tour, she endured various health struggles and even had to cancel some performances under doctor’s orders. Pink shares two children daughter Willow Sage and son Jameson with husband Carey Hart.
