Dallas Wings rookie Paige Bueckers is dominating the race for WNBA Rookie of the Year and her latest performance shows why.
In Sunday’s matchup with the Mystics, Bueckers became the fastest rookie in league history to reach at least 450 points, 100 assists, and 100 rebounds. She accomplished the feat in just her 25th WNBA game, continuing her streak of impressive all-around play.
Bueckers also extended her record for the longest active run of consecutive games with at least 10 points. She has scored in double figures in every game of her rookie season, with Sunday marking her 25th straight. No other current WNBA player has a streak that long.
Before tipoff, the 23-year-old was averaging 18.6 points, 5.4 assists, and 4.0 rebounds, needing only three more boards to hit the 100 mark for the season. Bueckers has not only met expectations in her debut season, she’s setting new ones.
