INDIANAPOLIS (August 1, 2025) — The Indiana Fever have rewarded Australian forward Chloe Bibby with a rest-of-season contract following a strong showing on a seven-day deal. Bibby, who joined the team on July 25, has played just two games for Indiana but made an immediate impact on both ends of the floor.
In her debut against the Chicago Sky, Bibby contributed eight points in just 11 minutes, helping the Fever secure a 93-78 victory. She followed up that performance with an even more efficient outing on Wednesday night, scoring 10 points in 13 minutes in Indiana’s 107-101 win over the Phoenix Mercury. Her stat line includes a 44.4 percent shooting clip from the field and 50.0 percent accuracy from three-point range an early sign of her potential to stretch the floor and contribute offensively in limited minutes.
Bibby’s presence has provided an offensive spark off the bench, giving head coach Christie Sides added depth during a crucial part of the regular season. The 6-foot-1 forward brings international experience and toughness, having previously played for the Washington Mystics in 2023 and competing in Europe before returning to the WNBA.
With the Fever aiming to climb the standings in the final stretch of the season, Bibby’s shooting and energy could prove vital. Indiana begins a challenging four-game road trip on August 1 against the Dallas Wings at the American Airlines Center. They’ll then travel west to face the Seattle Storm on August 3 at Climate Pledge Arena, with tip-off scheduled for 3 p.m. ET on ABC.
Bibby’s quick integration into the team has not gone unnoticed and with her new contract secured, she now has the opportunity to continue contributing down the stretch for a resurgent Fever squad.
