Former Alabama Stars Shine in Super Bowl: Roll Call, February 10, 2025.

The Philadelphia Eagles, featuring former Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts and a roster packed with ex-Crimson Tide standouts, defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL’s biggest game on Sunday night.

Hurts earned Super Bowl LIX MVP honors after an outstanding performance, amassing nearly 300 total yards and scoring three touchdowns one of which was caught by his former Alabama teammate, wide receiver DeVonta Smith.

Landon Dickerson, who also played alongside Hurts and Smith at Alabama, played a crucial role on the offensive line, providing solid protection for his quarterback throughout the game.

In total, seven former Crimson Tide players claimed Super Bowl rings, with Tyler Steen, Eli Ricks, Byron Young, and Cameron Latu also contributing to the Eagles’ championship season.
