4-star DL Titan Davis down to Alabama and Michigan after Cancelling other Visits.

Alabama is in the final two for an elite, game-changing defensive line recruit who is fresh off an official visit to Tuscaloosa.

Titan Davis, a Top 100 prospect and consensus 4-star defensive lineman, has narrowed his decision down to Alabama and Michigan. Following a recent official visit to Tuscaloosa, Davis has canceled scheduled trips to Penn State and USC, opting instead to focus on his top two schools. While his visit to Michigan is currently set for June 20th, there’s a possibility it could be moved up.

The timing of Davis’s decision to cancel other visits immediately after his trip to Alabama suggests that the Crimson Tide are in a strong position. However, with a visit to Ann Arbor still on the horizon, Michigan has a chance to make its case. The Wolverines’ track record in developing defensive linemen could play a significant role in swaying Davis.

A standout at DeSmet High School in St. Louis, Davis is the No. 98 overall player in the 247Sports Composite and ranks as Missouri’s second-best prospect. He helped lead his team to a state title last season, tallying 46 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, and nine sacks.

Davis is a top priority for Alabama defensive line coach Freddie Roach, who is aiming to land an elite class of DL talent. Davis could be the first big piece in that puzzle.

Alabama is also in a strong position with fellow 4-star defensive lineman Nolan Wilson, who visited alongside Davis last weekend. Wilson, from Picayune, Mississippi, is the No. 56 player nationally in the 247 Composite rankings.

The Crimson Tide remain in the hunt for versatile prospects like 5-star Tank Jones and 4-star Khamari Brooks, who could fit at defensive line or linebacker in Kane Wommack’s system. Both have Alabama high on their lists.

As DeBoer and his staff prepare for another key recruiting weekend, they’re also laying groundwork for the 2026 class. Although Alabama currently has just five commitments, a summer surge on the trail appears imminent.
