The WSF Championships 2026 are now accepting entries! Scheduled to take place from 19 January โ€“ 1 February 2026, the event will be held at the Hotel Marinela Sofia in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Whatโ€™s on Offer

Organised by the World Snooker Federation (WSF) in partnership with the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA), the Championships will feature:

Junior & Womenโ€™s events (19โ€“23 January)

The Open Championship (24 January โ€“ 1 February)

The winner of each event earns a two-year Tour Card to the professional World Snooker Tour (from the 2026/27 season)

All matches played on Xing Pai Championship tables, meeting WPBSA standards.

Eligibility & Entry Process

Open to players of all nationalities and genders.

Players must ensure they are in good standing with their national federation.

Entry is made via the WPBSA SnookerScores system โ€“ full instructions will follow in the official invitation letter.

The WSF Championships have become firmly established on the global amateur snooker calendar, serving as a major gateway into the professional ranks.
