British heavy-metal icons Iron Maiden are gearing up to celebrate their landmark 50th anniversary with a mammoth new tour titled “A Night of Classic Hits”, promising fans an unforgettable evening of vintage anthems and all-star support.

Set to launch in the summer of 2026, the tour will showcase Iron Maiden performing a sweeping setlist drawn from their first nine albums — from their 1980 self-titled debut through to 1992’s Fear of the Dark.

A Supergroup Support Line-Up

In a move sure to excite longtime metal devotees, Iron Maiden have announced that two fellow heavy-metal giants — Megadeth and Anthrax — will join them for the North American leg of the tour. Megadeth will support all dates, while Anthrax will appear on the larger stadium shows.

Founding bassist Steve Harris said: “We are greatly looking forward to bringing this ‘Run For Your Lives’ tour to North America… It’s an added bonus to have a few of our good friends on the tour with us.”

What to Expect: Classics, Epics, and Big Production

Frontman Bruce Dickinson took the opportunity to emphasize that the setlist will lean heavily on the band’s early era, with many fan-favourites and rare selections: “We’ve got all the big ones from that early period … and some of them we haven’t played in the U.S. for over 20 years!!” he enthused.

Indeed, the tour is being billed as one of the most ambitious in Iron Maiden’s history, with stadium-scale visuals, outdoor amphitheatres, and what the band describe as their “most spectacular and elaborate show ever!”

Tour Details & Buy-In Information

The North American leg officially kicks off August 29, 2026 in Toronto (Scotiabank Arena), with the run eventually wrapping up at the Alamodome in San Antonio on September 29.

Pre-sales for fan club members begin October 28, with general ticket sales opening October 31.

Why This Tour Matters

Milestone Celebration: The tour marks 50 years since Iron Maiden’s formation in 1975 — a major legacy moment for one of metal’s most enduring acts.

All-time Hits: With a setlist rooted in the band’s formative-era catalogue, the show is positioned as a long-time fans’ dream and a gateway for newer fans alike.

Metal Supergroup Energy: The inclusion of Megadeth and Anthrax elevates the tour beyond a typical headline run — it’s becoming a landmark celebration of the genre.

Production Scale: Bigger venues, advanced stagecraft and thematic visuals mean this won’t be just another concert — it promises to be an event.

Final Thoughts

For fans of Iron Maiden and the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, “A Night of Classic Hits” represents a rare chance to witness the band at full force, revisiting the songs that built their legacy — backed by kindred metal legends on the same bill. With pre-sales looming and anticipation already high, tickets are likely to be in high demand.

Tip: Signing up for the official fan club and monitoring pre-sale windows (Oct 28) would be wise if you don’t want to miss out.
