August 5, 2025 — Legendary German heavy metal band Accept is currently bringing their iconic sound to North America as part of the highly anticipated Full Metal Assault Tour, co-headlining with KK’s Priest — the band founded by former Judas Priest guitarist K.K. Downing. The tour marks a monumental collaboration between two pillars of the heavy metal world, offering fans a high-voltage showcase of classic metal power and raw, unrelenting energy.
Kicking off in late July, the Full Metal Assault Tour spans more than 25 cities across the U.S. and Canada, with stops in major markets including Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Toronto, and Dallas. The tour is scheduled to wrap up in mid-September, giving metalheads across the continent a chance to witness a historic convergence of two metal institutions.
Accept, formed in 1976 in Solingen, Germany, is known for helping define the sound and style of speed and thrash metal in the ’80s. With classic albums like Balls to the Wall, Metal Heart, and Restless and Wild, the band has remained a powerful force in the global metal scene. Still led by founding guitarist Wolf Hoffmann, Accept continues to deliver their trademark twin-guitar harmonies and thunderous rhythms to a devoted fanbase. Their latest album, Humanoid, released earlier this year, has been met with strong reviews and is a centerpiece of their current setlist.
“We’re thrilled to be back in North America, sharing the stage with KK’s Priest,” said Hoffmann in a recent interview. “It’s a true celebration of classic heavy metal. The energy on this tour is electric — both on stage and in the crowd.”
KK’s Priest, led by the iconic K.K. Downing, is touring in support of their second album, The Sinner Rides Again, which channels the same ferocity and grandeur that made Judas Priest a global phenomenon. The band features powerhouse vocalist Tim “Ripper” Owens and has quickly built a reputation for blistering live shows that blend new material with Judas Priest classics.
“This tour is about paying homage to the roots of heavy metal while keeping the spirit alive for new generations,” said Downing. “To be out there with Accept, a band we’ve respected for decades, is something truly special.”
Fans can expect full-throttle performances from both bands, with sets packed with fan favorites, high-octane solos, and explosive stage production. In many cities, shows are selling out or nearing capacity, a testament to the enduring appeal of traditional heavy metal.
The Full Metal Assault Tour is more than just a concert — it’s a gathering of the metal faithful, a night where generations of fans unite under the banner of leather, studs, and roaring guitars. For fans of classic metal, it’s a can’t-miss event.
