Stephanie White, the Indiana Fever’s coach, shows her true colors with newcomer Chloe Bibby.

The Indiana Fever (14-12) extended their winning streak to three games with a commanding 93–78 victory over the Chicago Sky (7-18), who have now dropped five straight.

Despite efforts from the Sky highlighted by Rachel Banham’s 26 points and Kamilla Cardoso’s 12, it wasn’t enough to slow down a dominant Fever squad. Kelsey Mitchell once again led the charge, scoring a game-high 35 points along with six assists. It marked her ninth career game with 30 or more points in the WNBA and also saw her notch her 200th career steal.

Stepping up in Caitlin Clark’s absence due to a groin injury was recent signee Chloe Bibby. The Australian forward joined the team on a seven-day contract and made an immediate impact in her debut. In just 11 minutes, Bibby tallied 8 points, 2 rebounds, a block, and knocked down two of her four three-point attempts.

Her performance drew praise from head coach Stephanie White, who noted Bibby’s awareness on both ends of the court:

“She did a really good job understanding the offense, knowing where her shots would come from, and staying ready. Defensively, she held her own and didn’t give up easy looks.”

White also highlighted how Bibby’s presence offers the team a new dimension:

“She brings a different look than our other post players. We usually go small with Sophie [Cunningham] or Lexie [Hull] at the four, but with Chloe’s size and ability to stretch the floor, we have more flexibility.”

Bibby had previously appeared in five games for the Golden State Valkyries before being waived in late June, averaging 6.4 points and 2.8 rebounds. She also helped Australia win gold at the 2025 FIBA Women’s World Cup in Asia with a victory over Japan.

Now on her second WNBA team this season, Bibby looks to build on her strong debut as the Fever prepare to host the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday, July 30, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
