EXCLUSIVE: U.S. Sprinter Chris Robinson Gets Undies Modeling Offer After Junk Exposed In Race

Chris Robinson, the U.S. sprinter who recently went viral for an unintentional wardrobe malfunction during a major track event, is now turning an embarrassing moment into a surprising career opportunity — he’s been offered a deal to model underwear

The incident occurred during a televised 400-meter race last weekend, when Robinson’s compression shorts failed to do their job mid-sprint. As cameras followed the action, eagle-eyed viewers caught a brief glimpse of more than just world-class athleticism. Within minutes, the clip began circulating on social media, quickly racking up millions of views and generating headlines around the world.

Though clearly mortified at first, Robinson, 27, seems to be embracing the attention with a sense of humor — and now, he’s being rewarded for it. Sources close to the situation tell us that at least two major underwear brands have reached out with modeling offers, including a high-end European label looking to expand into the U.S. market.

One offer reportedly includes a six-figure endorsement deal and a multi-shoot campaign that would feature Robinson as the face (and body) of a new line of performance-focused men’s underwear.

“Chris is the definition of athletic confidence,” a rep from the brand told us. “What happened on the track just confirmed what we already knew — he’s bold, he’s real, and he gets people talking.”

Despite the awkward origins of the attention, Robinson’s team sees a chance to reshape the narrative and cash in on the viral fame. A source close to the sprinter confirmed he is “strongly considering” the offers and has already taken a few test shots with one brand for marketing purposes.

“At first he was embarrassed,” the source said. “But now, he’s laughing about it. If anything, it’s given him a huge boost in name recognition — and he’s ready to run with it, literally and figuratively.”

Robinson has yet to comment publicly on the incident or the potential modeling gig, but he did post a cheeky message to his Instagram Story the day after the race: “Guess I left it all on the track.”

Fans have flooded his social media with support and jokes, calling him everything from “Track Daddy” to “The Flash — in more ways than one.”

As for Robinson’s athletic future, the wardrobe slip hasn’t derailed his training. He remains focused on qualifying for the upcoming World Championships and says his eyes are still on the gold.

Still, it seems he may soon be adding “model” to his résumé.

And next time he hits the track, he’ll likely be doing so in a pair of brand-new, highly secured, sponsorship-approved undies.
