Led Zeppelin Announce New Live EP and Physical Graffiti 50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition
July 25, 2025 — Rock legends Led Zeppelin have thrilled fans around the world with the surprise announcement of a brand-new live EP and a deluxe 50th anniversary edition of their seminal 1975 double album, Physical Graffiti. The news comes as part of a broader celebration of the band’s enduring legacy and influence on rock music.
The upcoming live EP, titled Led Zeppelin: Live at Earl’s Court 1975, features previously unreleased recordings from their five-night residency at London’s Earl’s Court Arena in May 1975—widely considered one of the band’s most iconic live performances. The EP will be released digitally and on limited-edition vinyl on September 6, 2025, with pre-orders already generating high demand.
According to a statement released on Led Zeppelin’s official website, the live EP will include six remastered tracks capturing the band at the height of their creative and live powers. Tracks include extended renditions of “Kashmir,” “Trampled Under Foot,” and “Dazed and Confused,” showcasing the band’s improvisational brilliance and raw stage energy.
Meanwhile, the Physical Graffiti 50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition will hit shelves on October 17, 2025. Available in multiple formats—including a super deluxe box set, 180-gram vinyl, Blu-ray audio, and streaming platforms—the reissue promises a sonic upgrade to the original masterpiece. It will also feature newly unearthed studio outtakes, alternate mixes, and rare photos curated by guitarist and producer Jimmy Page.
“This record was a turning point for us—it showed the full range of what Led Zeppelin could do,” Page said in the announcement. “From the heaviness of ‘Custard Pie’ to the Eastern influence on ‘Kashmir,’ we were pushing ourselves in every direction.”
Originally released on February 24, 1975, Physical Graffiti is widely regarded as one of Led Zeppelin’s most ambitious and influential works. The album spans blues, hard rock, funk, and folk, with tracks like “The Rover,” “In My Time of Dying,” and “Ten Years Gone” showcasing the band’s musical evolution and technical prowess.
Fans can also look forward to an exclusive documentary short, Graffiti and Glory, which will accompany the deluxe edition. The mini-film includes archival footage, interviews with surviving members Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, and John Paul Jones, and commentary from modern artists inspired by the album’s legacy.
In addition to the EP and deluxe edition, Led Zeppelin has partnered with Rhino Entertainment and independent record stores worldwide for a one-day-only Physical Graffiti listening experience on September 20. Select locations will offer exclusive merchandise, giveaways, and a chance to win signed memorabilia.
With no reunion tour in sight, these releases serve as a powerful reminder of Led Zeppelin’s monumental impact on the history of rock. Whether revisiting Physical Graffiti or discovering the explosive live energy of 1975, fans old and new have plenty to celebrate in the months ahead.
