Nicko McBrain has announced his men will be playing a handful of shows throughout Florida this month with his Maiden cover band Titanium Tart

Iron Maiden’s legendary drummer Nicko McBrain has announced a short run of shows across Florida this month with his Iron Maiden tribute band, Titanium Tart. Known for his energetic style, thunderous drumming, and larger-than-life personality, McBrain will be taking a break from the massive stages of Iron Maiden’s global tours to deliver a more intimate experience for fans in his home state.

Titanium Tart is no ordinary tribute band. Fronted by McBrain himself, the group features a lineup of seasoned musicians who bring the Maiden experience to life with incredible precision and passion. Though McBrain has occasionally guested with tribute acts in the past, Titanium Tart is his full-fledged pet project—a labor of love that allows him to reconnect with the roots of Maiden’s classic sound while giving fans a rare chance to see him perform up close.

The mini-tour kicks off July 19th in Fort Lauderdale and includes stops in Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, and Miami. Each show promises a setlist packed with Iron Maiden’s greatest hits—from early bangers like Prowler and Wrathchild to anthems like The Trooper, Run to the Hills, and Hallowed Be Thy Name. Fans can also expect a few deep cuts rarely heard live on Maiden’s global tours.

In a press statement, McBrain shared his excitement: “Florida’s home for me, and I’ve always loved the connection I get with the fans here. Titanium Tart isn’t just a tribute—it’s a celebration. These are songs that changed my life, and it’s a blast to get back behind the kit with a band that truly gets it. We’re going to make these shows a proper party.”

Titanium Tart’s lineup remains tight-lipped, but local whispers suggest the band includes some well-known Florida musicians, many of whom have worked with McBrain on side projects and benefit concerts over the years. Their musicianship and stage presence are expected to match the high bar set by Maiden themselves.

Beyond the music, each show will include meet-and-greet opportunities, exclusive merch, and even a few surprises. Longtime fans of McBrain will know he’s never one to keep things entirely serious—expect banter, storytelling, and that signature cheeky sense of humor he’s known for.

The tour also carries a charitable component. A portion of proceeds will go to HomeSafe, a South Florida-based nonprofit that supports victims of domestic violence and child abuse—an organization McBrain has supported for years.

Whether you’re a diehard Maiden fan or just looking for an unforgettable night of metal in the Sunshine State, these Titanium Tart shows are shaping up to be some of the most unique and intimate performances McBrain has delivered in decades. With limited dates and smaller venues, tickets are expected to go fast.

Catch the beast in his backyard—Nicko McBrain and Titanium Tart are ready to bring the thunder to Florida.
