GOOD NEWS: Wolf Hoffmann and Udo Dirkschneider Reunite for Massive 50th Anniversary ACCEPT Show in Los Angeles

Mark your calendars: July 21, 2025. Los Angeles. ACCEPT. 50 years. Two night. One epic celebration

Los Angeles, CA – July 21, 2025 – In a landmark moment for heavy metal fans worldwide, Wolf Hoffmann and Udo Dirkschneider, the iconic founding members of German metal legends ACCEPT, are reuniting for a once-in-a-lifetime show in Los Angeles to celebrate the band’s 50th anniversary.

Set to take place on July 21, 2025, at the historic Hollywood Bowl, the event promises an unforgettable night of pure metal, nostalgia, and celebration. This will be the first time in decades that Hoffmann, the long-standing guitarist and musical backbone of ACCEPT, shares the stage with original frontman Dirkschneider, whose unmistakable voice helped define the band’s sound during its formative years in the late ’70s and early ’80s.

The concert, officially titled “ACCEPT: 50 Years of Metal Heart”, is expected to draw fans from around the globe, eager to witness the long-anticipated reunion and pay tribute to the band’s half-century legacy. The setlist is rumored to span their entire discography, from classics like “Balls to the Wall,” “Metal Heart,” and “Fast as a Shark” to deeper cuts and modern-era anthems.

“This is more than a concert – it’s a celebration of everything ACCEPT stands for,” said Wolf Hoffmann in a press statement. “We’ve had an incredible journey, and to mark 50 years with a show like this, alongside Udo, feels like the perfect way to honor our legacy and our fans.”

Dirkschneider echoed the sentiment, stating, “Time passes, but the music stays strong. I’m excited to be part of this celebration with Wolf and everyone who has been part of ACCEPT’s journey. This night is for the fans – the real reason we’re still here after five decades.”

Formed in Solingen, Germany in 1975, ACCEPT helped shape the early sound of European heavy metal. With their tight riffs, powerful vocals, and aggressive energy, they earned a devoted global fanbase and paved the way for many of today’s heavy metal bands. Though Dirkschneider left the band in 1987 to pursue a solo career, his legacy with ACCEPT remains deeply respected.

The 50th anniversary show will also feature several surprise guests, former members, and special collaborations, making it a true all-star event for metalheads. Limited-edition merchandise, commemorative vinyl releases, and exclusive VIP meet-and-greet packages are already selling out fast.

Tickets for “ACCEPT: 50 Years of Metal Heart” went on sale earlier this month and are reportedly nearing a sell-out, signaling the massive anticipation for this historic reunion.

For fans who can’t attend in person, a live-streaming option will be available worldwide, ensuring that the energy and excitement of this legendary performance reaches audiences across the globe.
