ACCEPT’s Wolf Hoffmann Talks ‘Metal Heart’ 2025 Remix and Ultra-Rare Hologram: “There is Only ONE in the World”
July 2025 — Legendary German heavy metal band ACCEPT continues to celebrate its 50th anniversary in spectacular fashion with the release of a brand-new remix of their iconic 1985 album, “Metal Heart.” Alongside the sonic revamp, guitarist and founding member Wolf Hoffmann unveiled a one-of-a-kind “Metal Heart” hologram, stunning fans with a glimpse of rare memorabilia tied directly to the band’s history.
“There is only ONE in the world,” Hoffmann said in a newly released video, referring to the holographic display. “It’s something we had made just for us—a true one-off that captures everything Metal Heart stood for: power, precision, and innovation.”
The 2025 remix of Metal Heart—remastered and remixed by acclaimed producer Andy Sneap—gives new life to the album’s timeless tracks such as “Midnight Mover,” “Screaming for a Love-Bite,” and the classical-metal fusion title track, “Metal Heart.” The updated mix adds punch and clarity while staying faithful to the original spirit that helped define ACCEPT’s sound in the mid-80s.
“This remix lets you hear the songs as they were meant to be heard—with modern technology but classic soul,” Hoffmann explained. “It’s not a rewrite, it’s a rediscovery.”
But it’s the Metal Heart hologram that truly wowed fans in the recent behind-the-scenes video shared by the band. The display, a shimmering 3D representation of the iconic mechanical heart artwork, brings the original album cover to life in stunning detail.
“This was an idea I had back in the day, but the technology wasn’t there yet,” Hoffmann shared. “Now, we’ve finally created it. And no—there aren’t 10 or 100. There’s just one.”
The hologram is currently housed in the band’s archive and rehearsal space but may appear in some form during the band’s upcoming 50th anniversary world tour. ACCEPT has teased that the tour will include archival content, visual effects, and possible tributes to classic albums—including Metal Heart.
The remix and hologram reveal come as part of a broader celebration of ACCEPT’s five-decade career. With their recent album Humanoid released in 2024 and touching on themes like AI and digital identity, Hoffmann and the band continue to explore the intersection of metal and modernity.
“There’s something poetic about revisiting Metal Heart—an album that already blended man and machine—and doing it now in the age of artificial intelligence,” Hoffmann said. “The remix, the hologram, the whole anniversary—it’s all connected.”
Fans can now stream the 2025 remix of Metal Heart across all major platforms. Physical collectors can also grab a limited-edition vinyl release featuring the remixed tracks, new liner notes by Hoffmann, and exclusive anniversary artwork.
As ACCEPT marches into its sixth decade, Hoffmann remains committed to pushing boundaries while honoring the past.
“Metal is alive. It evolves—but it never forgets where it came from,” he said. “This hologram is proof of that. It’s history. It’s heart. It’s metal.”
